Whether you are a private customer looking for something special or a restaurant expanding your seasonal offerings, you'll find produce from Lillklobb on sale from May - October at a variety of outlets throughout the Helsinki region.
The best way to buy produce is directly from the farm itself!
All on farm sales of produce, with the exception of honey, receive a 10% discount.*
Conveniently located in the Kilo neighborhood of Espoo, the farm is only 15 minutes away from Helsinki center by car and has both bus and close commuter rail connections to the entire HSL network.
Farm sale dates for 2019 are TBD as spring approaches.
Also look forward to Pick Your Own Days when the savings can be even greater!
Follow the farm on Facebook for regular updates from the farm.
*This offer does not stack with a CSA Share
Local REKO Rings
Can't make it to the farm? We'll come to you!
REKO Rings are a great way to buy local produce: these independently organized, neighborhood "farmer's markets" are expanding rapidly.
You can even choose to pick up your CSA Share directly from a local REKO ring!
Farmer's and other producers of foodstuffs join consumers in private Facebook pages created by regular people for their neighborhood.
Consumers reply to the "advertisements" (a Facebook post by the producer) and declare what goods they want to purchase. This reservation system allows the producer to know exactly how much of what to bring each week, reducing waste.
The markets are held every other week (biweekly) in the late afternoon or early evening.
Lillklobb's produce can be found at the following REKO Rings:
Espoo - Olari
Espoo - Leppävaara
Helsinki - Lauttasaari
Helsinki - kantakaupunki
Uudenmaan ruoka is Finland's first "Foodhub," a farmer led organization that brings many producers under the same roof.
A new pick up kiosk has opened at the Kierrätyskeskus in Nihtisilta, Espoo, just 1.4km from Lillklobb!
With a pick up site also in Herttoniemi, Uudenmaan ruoka is well suited for those not in Espoo.
When I have some extra produce or something especially unique, I'll advertise it with the Foodhub. Here's the link to:
